About Bonnie Tartan

We are a Scottish family-run business based in the heart of Bonnie Scotland, established in 2009.  We are the World’s leading tailors in producing the finest Tartan Hosiery, Traditional Highland Kilts and Highland Tartan Dance Outfits and Accessories. We have years of experience in producing the finest tartan kilt hosiery, which are all knitted, fully fashioned and hand finished for supreme comfort and longevity.  Our tartan kilt hose, tartan kilts and Aboyne skirts and plaids are all made from the softest 100% pure new wool.  We design and weave our own range of  ‘Bonnie’ Tartans which are used in many tailored Highland Dancing garments and accessories. We also offer exclusive gift products in bespoke bags, bears, and soft furnishings in our selected tartan and tweed ranges. All our products are made by us in Scotland using the finest materials.

It was when my daughter started Highland Dancing at the age of 3 that I thought there was a need to continue a time-old tradition of producing tartan hose, but only using a slightly more modern process.  We combine our traditional knowledge with cutting-edge technology that accelerates our production, thereby raising our quality standards. Our tartan hose still takes many hours to produce!
